FAQ

How many days will it take to build my ship?

Typically it takes about 3 days for the “Big” Ship and about 2 days for the “Medium” Ship. For an “Ultimate” Ship it would take approx. 3-4 days to complete. Weather is always a variable and will have to be considered as the project arrives.

Can I pay using a credit card? How do your payments work?

Yes. We use Paypal for credit card transactions and charge a 3% fee to use a credit card. We require a 15% deposit when booking the build date which we typically do via Paypal. We normally require a 35% payment as we arrive on site and before we unload and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project

I Live in California. Do you travel that far?

Yes. We have traveled to almost every state in the country and have even built Pirate Play Ships in Mexico and Canada. Keep in mind there is an additional fee for travel outside Middle Tennessee which generally equates to the delivery & set-up fees that other companies charge. The difference is what you get for the money and many times even with our travel fees our pricing comes to less than the other guys total cost.

My space is limited in my yard. Can I still get an awesome Pirate Play Ship?

If you are concerned about fitting a Pirate Play Ship in the space you have available just contact us. We are glad to work with you and offer suggestions to customize the ship and it’s attachments so that it works the best for you, your needs, and possible limitations.

Will your trucks or equipment damage my yard or grass as you build?

We are very conscious of the grounds that we are working on and make an extra effort to leave the site as we found it. We don’t build the ship before we come and simply unload it at your house. We build the ship by hand piece by piece and cut everything on site so that means a tight custom fit and no huge trucks or trailers creating ruts all over your property.

Do you travel out of town to rent the Mobile Ship for parties and events?

We do travel with the Mobile Ship for festivals and other events in the region but typically do not travel long distances for small parties or events. Feel free to contact us with your questions and we’ll consider what you have in mind.
